Nvidia $NVDA vs. CoreWeave $CRWV: AI's Hottest Debate Hits Social
YouTube is pounding the table on Nvidia's 74% forward revenue growth while X is asking if CoreWeave's $35B capex hole is a red flag

Ticker Ratings
The AI trade is alive, loud, and deeply confused right now. Two tickers are eating up social oxygen this week: $NVDA and $CRWV (CoreWeave). The vibe could not be more different depending on where you're reading.
On YouTube, the Nvidia bull case is getting its moment. Seeking Alpha's channel flags 74% forward revenue growth for Nvidia, roughly 495% above the sector median, with forward earnings growth sitting 295% above peers. Jensen Huang's Bloomberg interview is making the rounds too, where he compares the current AI moment to the early internet and notes that the cost of AI tokens is falling 30 to 40 times per year. That's not a typo. The Seeking Alpha crew also dropped a piece noting Nvidia is one of just five mega-caps now worth a combined $21.6 trillion, matching the market cap of 434 other index members combined. Concentration risk is real, but these aren't exactly lottery tickets.
CoreWeave is a different story. CNBC's coverage zeroed in on its $35 billion in capex needs, rising yields (the 10-year is sitting at 5.21%), and painfully slow data center builds due to regulatory gridlock. Venture capitalist Bradley Tusk went on CNBC and basically said the infrastructure layer of AI is where dreams go to get crushed by debt covenants. The Bloomberg Closing Bell recap noted CoreWeave dropped hard on the same session Nvidia fell 3% following the hot CPI print, suggesting the market is treating them as a risk-off pair.
The Anthropic IPO angle is also driving $NVDA and $AVGO chatter. Broadcom is reportedly arranging over $50 billion in debt financing for OpenAI and $42 billion for Anthropic infrastructure, per Seeking Alpha's coverage. If Anthropic's IPO lands before Thanksgiving as rumored, that is a massive liquidity event for the entire AI stack, and Nvidia is the obvious picks-and-shovels play sitting behind all of it.
The bear case worth respecting: Anthropic has $518 billion in compute obligations, with 80% reportedly non-cancellable. If even one hyperscaler blinks on capex, the downstream pain hits infrastructure names first and fast. X is already stress-testing that narrative daily.
Nvidia keeps showing up in every AI conversation whether it wants to or not. That's not a bug, that's the whole thesis.
